Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), has opened in the red by 0.20%, sending the market closer to 6,000.

The biggest gain for an ASX200 business this morning is Sirtex Medical Limited (ASX: SRX), the share price is up by over 45% on news that it has received a takeover offer.

Protective glove company Ansell Limited’s (ASX: ANN) share price has risen by 4.44% this morning on no news.

The Incitec Pivot Ltd (ASX: IPL) share price is up by 3.54% today, the company announced yesterday that it would be cancelling its share buy-back.

The lithium miners have continued their descent with Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX: GXY) down by 2.62% and Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS) down by 4.08%. Some market commentators believe that there could be an oversupply of lithium in the near future.

The Treasury Wine Estates Ltd (ASX: TWE) share price has grown by 1.44%, investors were happy with its half-year report.
