ALL ORDINARIES Index Up, Afterpay (ASX:APT) Shares Rise

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is currently up 0.73% at lunch.

The Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) share price is showing one of the biggest gains this morning, it is up nearly 7%. The tech sector is getting a boost thanks to US markets rising strongly overnight with the Fed Chair suggesting US interest rates may not go up as much.

Other tech shares to rise substantially are Altium Limited (ASX: ALU) which is up nearly 9% and WiseTech Global Ltd (ASX: WTC) which has risen 7.75%.

The Gentrack Group Ltd (ASX: GTK) share price is down 5.4% so far, it reported its 2018 annual financial result, however the software as a service business said that energy customers were holding off on investing in projects on uncertainty with price regulation.

Shares of Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) are down 4.75% despite reporting profit growth of around 25% in its 2018 financial year result.
