ALL ORDINARIES Index Up, Telstra (ASX:TLS) Shares Rise

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is currently up 0.10% at lunch.

The Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) share price is one of the top performing blue chips so far, it’s up 0.5% to $3.20.

Shares of the aged care providers plunged today after the government announced it would start a royal commission into the sector. The Japara Healthcare Ltd (ASX: JHC) share price is down 14%, Estia Health Ltd (ASX: EHE) shares are down 15.76% and Regis Healthcare Ltd (ASX: REG) has fallen 13.26%.

Sukin owner BWX Ltd (ASX: BWX) shares are currently up 1.96% with the natural beauty business announcing Bain Capital was stepping away from the potential takeover deal.

The Collection House Limited (ASX: CLH) share price is up nearly 1% after making a couple of leadership announcements.

Healthcare business Paragon Care Ltd (ASX: PGC) shares are up 1.67%, earlier this morning it confirmed it had issued the first tranche of shares to the new Chinese-based investor.
