ALL ORDINARIES Up, Rio Tinto Shares Rise

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is up by 0.50% at lunch.

The Rio Tinto Limited (ASX: RIO) share price has risen 1.24%. making it one of the top performers in the ASX20.

Woolworths Limited (ASX: WOW) revealed its quarterly sales figures this morning, showing that it has beaten Coles’ growth for another quarter. The Woolworths share price is up 0.78%.

The JB Hi-Fi Limited (ASX: JBH) share price has fallen by 7% after reducing its FY18 profit guidance from originally a range of $235 million to $240 million, to $230 million.

Funeral business Invocare Limited (ASX: IVC) announced that its profit would be down in 2018, this sent the share price under by over 5%.

Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) shares flew higher by 6% after the company announced its third quarter revenue increased by 7.5% compared to last year and the full year underlying net profit before tax will be in the range of $1.55 billion to $1.6 billion.
