Have you had to reduce or press pause on your money goals this year?

In this episode, Kate Campbell & Evan Lucas discuss managing all those feelings that come up when you have to reduce or press pause on your goals, breaking solid habits and feeling like you’re ā€˜getting behind’.

✨ Today’s conversation was inspired by this listener’s question

Sleepless Parents: My wife and I recently and very happily had our 2nd child and concurrently have come off a low fixed rate mortgage and now have a much higher interest rate. During the next 12 months my wife will be caring for our child and away from her profession. During this period our family income will be reduced and we are not in a position to continue investing or saving for 12 months. We have an emergency fund to fall back on if required. Being habitual monthly ETF investors/savers we find it strange to stop this behaviour. How can our mindset shift to be more tolerable and accepting of our short term situation?
