Friday: What’s The All Ords Index Doing at Lunch?

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), has opened in the green by 0.27% at lunch, passing the 6,200 level.

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), has opened in the green by 0.27% at lunch, passing the 6,200 level.

The biggest mover in the ASX200 so far today has been data centre company Nextdc Ltd (ASX: NXT), its share price has risen by 7.84% at the time of writing.

James Hardie Industries plc (ASX: JHX) is another big mover after the construction company released its third quarter materials result, the share price is up by 6.14%.

The other share to rise by more than 5% today in the ASX200 is Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX: MND), the resource service company’s share price has risen by 5.09% at lunch.

The Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) share price is currently flat after it announced it would have to make a $273 million impairment to its Ooyala business.

Medibank Private Limited’s (ASX: MPL) share price has declined by 3.27% after Labor leader Bill Shorten attacked the industry’s premium rises earlier this week.
