Big money is not in the buying or selling, but in the waiting.

For my own portfolio, I like to find ASX shares that are growing their dividends. Growth is an essential part of the dividend equation for me. I want to see that the dividend increases are funded by growing earnings and/or growing underlying asset values. I also have a portion of my portfolio invested in an ETF that picks undervalued global businesses with strong competitive advantages.
For Rask Media, I have an interest in covering technology (and tech-related) businesses with a global growth story, as well as cyclical companies that are cheaply priced because they’re at a low point in the cycle, such as retailers and resource businesses which could benefit strongly in the medium-term.

I think that these 2 blue chip ASX shares are top class ideas, like Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co. Ltd (ASX:SOL).

There are some exciting ASX growth shares that I’d be happy to buy for my portfolio next week, including Redbubble Ltd (ASX:RBL).

These 2 great ASX dividend shares look like top income picks in my opinion, including WAM Microcap Limited (ASX:WMI).

The Afterpay Ltd (ASX:APT) share price has continued to rise after receiving a takeover bid from fintech giant Square Inc (NASDAQ: SQ).

The Betmakers Technology Group Ltd (ASX:BET) share price is up over 9% after the first U.S state legalises fixed odds horse race betting.

The News Corp (ASX:NWS) share price is rising after delivering its FY21 result which included a return to profit.

The REA Group Limited (ASX:REA) share price is in focus after delivering profit growth per share of 21% in the FY21 report.

I think these 2 quality ASX shares would fit well into any portfolio, including the retailer Wesfarmers Ltd (ASX:WES).
