ASX 200 (XJO) To Open Higher, 3 ASX Shares To Watch

The ASX 200 (INDEXASX: XJO)(^AXJO) is expected to open higher today, the USA’s S&P 500 Index (.INX) rose by 0.69% on Monday.

In ASX sharemarket news, Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund (ASX: FSF) has announced that it has increased its FY20 farmgate milk price from a range of $6.25 to $7.25 per kgMS to $6.55 to $7.55 per kgMS.

The Advance Rate Fonterra pays will be set off the mid-point of $7.05 per kgMS.

Fonterra Chairman John Monaghan said: “Demand for whole milk powder (WMP) has been firm, and for the full season we’re expecting it to be above last year. Global WMP production is down year to date and expected to continue to decrease the remainder of 2019.”

SKY Network Television Limited (ASX: SKT) has announced that Netball NZ and Sky has extended its partnership to 2024.

It includes all Silver Ferns games and all domestic top tier events including the Constellation Cup, ANZ Premiership matches, the national netball league and national age group championship matches.

Netball NZ CEO Jennie Wyllie said: “We’re thrilled to have extended our partnership with Sky, and are grateful for their support across all levels of netball.

Netball is the number one female team sport in New Zealand with around 145,000 players across the country.”
