Meet your hosts

Owen Rask is a husband and parent. When he is not doing that, he is the Founder of Rask and Chief Investment Officer of Rask Invest, Rask’s investment platform that specialises in building passive income for retirees (SMSFs and families) as well as growing wealth for business owners, younger families, couples & professionals.

Owen has 13 years of professional investment experience, teaches the Value Investor Program (Australia’s premier value investment training program), has enrolled 32,000+ Aussies & Kiwis into free online courses and is responsible for everything you see in front of you.

Owen hosts many podcasts, occasionally appears on television, has two Master’s level degrees in finance, a bachelor’s degree in technology, numerous other polytechnic qualifications, completed CFA Level 1, has passed ASIC’s Financial Adviser exam and is the ultimate holder of Australian Financial Services Licence #563907.

Gemma Mitchell is a mum, money coach and financial adviser. With over 20 years of experience in finance, Gemma has dedicated her career to helping people take control of their financial futures. Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and keynote speaking, she guides individuals and businesses to align their financial goals with their values, build resilience, and thrive through life’s inevitable plot twists.

As a mum and entrepreneur, Gemma has experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating major life changes like divorce, loss and career shifts. These experiences have shaped an empathetic, practical approach to wealth-building and financial independence. She is passionate about helping others rebuild, grow, and protect their wealth in a way that feels empowering and sustainable.
