For my own portfolio, I like to find ASX shares that are growing their dividends. Growth is an essential part of the dividend equation for me. I want to see that the dividend increases are funded by growing earnings and/or growing underlying asset values. I also have a portion of my portfolio invested in an ETF that picks undervalued global businesses with strong competitive advantages.
For Rask Media, I have an interest in covering technology (and tech-related) businesses with a global growth story, as well as cyclical companies that are cheaply priced because they’re at a low point in the cycle, such as retailers and resource businesses which could benefit strongly in the medium-term.

The Collins Foods Ltd (ASX:CKF) share price is in focus after the fast food business reported a challenged HY25 result.

The Metcash Ltd (ASX:MTS) share price is up 3% after reporting its FY25 half-year result with a solid trading update.

The Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX:NST) share price is down more than 5% on its plan to buy De Grey Mining Limited (ASX:DEG).
