For my own portfolio, I like to find ASX shares that are growing their dividends. Growth is an essential part of the dividend equation for me. I want to see that the dividend increases are funded by growing earnings and/or growing underlying asset values. I also have a portion of my portfolio invested in an ETF that picks undervalued global businesses with strong competitive advantages.
For Rask Media, I have an interest in covering technology (and tech-related) businesses with a global growth story, as well as cyclical companies that are cheaply priced because they’re at a low point in the cycle, such as retailers and resource businesses which could benefit strongly in the medium-term.

The ASX 200 (INDEXASX:XJO)(^AXJO) is expected to open higher today, the USA’s S&P 500 Index (.INX) rose by 0.82% on Wednesday.

The EML Payments Ltd (ASX:EML) share price went bananas on Wednesday, it jumped 10.3% in reaction to the FY19 result.

Insurance business Steadfast Group Ltd (ASX:SDF) went into a trading halt as it released its FY19 report to investors.

Is the Sydney Airport Holdings Pty Ltd (ASX:SYD) share price a buy after revealing its July 2019 traffic numbers?

The A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX:A2M) share price fell 13.2% after investors turned a bit sour on the company.

Is the APA Group (ASX:APA) share price a buy for income after the release of its FY19 result? The APA share price rose by 3% today.

The Nearmap Ltd (ASX:NEA) share price fell 9.5% today after reporting its FY19 result.
