For my own portfolio, I like to find ASX shares that are growing their dividends. Growth is an essential part of the dividend equation for me. I want to see that the dividend increases are funded by growing earnings and/or growing underlying asset values. I also have a portion of my portfolio invested in an ETF that picks undervalued global businesses with strong competitive advantages.
For Rask Media, I have an interest in covering technology (and tech-related) businesses with a global growth story, as well as cyclical companies that are cheaply priced because they’re at a low point in the cycle, such as retailers and resource businesses which could benefit strongly in the medium-term.
The Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX:TLS) share price is on watch after announcing that its Telstra Health division is making an acquisition.
The Latitude Group Holdings Ltd (ASX:LFS) share price is rising after announcing it’s going to buy the fintech Symple.
The ELMO Software Ltd (ASX:ELO) share price is on watch after releasing its FY21 report, showing continued strong double digit growth.
The Suncorp Group Ltd (ASX:SUN) share price is in focus with its FY21 result, and announcing a special dividend with a share buyback.
