Arian founded VanEck Australia and leads VanEck’s Asia Pacific businesses. He is a board director and chair of VanEck Investments Limited, VanEck Australia Pty Ltd and VanEck Investments Pte Ltd and is a board director for the firm’s China business, VanEck Investment Management (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. and VanEck Private Fund Management (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Recognised as a thought leader and with over 20 years’ experience in asset management and investment banking, he established VanEck in Australia in 2013. Arian started his career in asset management and investment banking with MLC. He subsequently held senior roles at Perpetual and Credit Suisse and was a founding partner at boutique asset management advisory firm Sunstone Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Curtin University and Diploma of Financial Services, Kaplan Professional.
