Welcome to Shares Month 2022 on The Australian Finance Podcast! This month is all about how to analyse stocks like a Pro investment analyst.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll start with the basics, discuss building an ethical portfolio, tackle an analysis on a company you’ve probably heard about – Xero Limited (ASX: XRO) – and we’ll finish the month with a share investing specific Q&A along with a special (and brand new) hypothetical portfolio.

Stay tuned for all eight parts of Shares Month in May/June 2022 as the Rask Australia team walk you through how to analyse your own companies (from scratch) and ways you can make investing in great companies easy as 1-2-3 (4-5).

In today’s episode, we’re going to run you through a high-level version of our share investing checklist that you can use while researching companies. This includes looking at what a company does, who runs it, competitive advantages, whether it’s in a growing industry and looking at its valuation.

Our next Q&A session will be focused on answering your questions on share investing. The ENTIRE Rask team will be on standby to answer your questions. So… SEND THEM IN! Email us at [email protected] and use the subject line “SHARES MONTH”. We’ll prioritise your questions to be answered in our Q&A episode.
