The Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) share price is up 3.4% after it announced yesterday that it is in a position to enter the MSCI Index.

At the bottom of the ASX 200 performance table the Southern Cross Media Group Ltd (ASX: SXL) share price is down by over 20% after announcing that revenue was down in the September 2019 quarter.

The Nine Entertainment Co Holdings Ltd (ASX: NEC) share price seems to be suffering from media association with Southern Cross, it’s down 6%, but it also announced the offer period has ended for acquiring Macquarie Media Ltd (ASX: MRN) shares – it will now compulsorily buy the rest.

The share price of Cooper Energy Ltd. (ASX: COE) is up 4.5% after giving its quarterly activities report and announcing a new gas discovery at Dombey-1DW1. A gross gas column of 44.5 metres with an estimated net pay thickness of 25 metres has been identified.
