The company has a simple mission of making it easier for advertising agencies and brand owners (think Nike and BMW) to select and buy the right ads for their business. It measures the ad placements and pricing in milliseconds. With more data and feeds on audio, video, banners and text, Trade Desk processes around three times more transactional volume than the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ stock exchange, Google Search, Twitter, Amazon S3, and Instagram combined.
